The Wingham Ironmen would like to send our prayers to the family of Ironmen Alumnus and long time supporter; Tom 'Bir-Head' Graham.
Tom played for the Ironmen for two seasons (1977 to 1979).
'Bir-Head' was a fan favourite on the ice, and made the 'worm' popular. While playing against Fergus, Tom told his team-mates that if he scored, he would do the worm at centre ice. Sticking to his word, Tom scored, skated to centre ice, dropped and did the worm.
